Here is a Midvale Heights Neighborhood area map.
The Midvale Heights Community Association divides the neighborhood into 15 areas, each area is represented by an elected Area Director. To find out who your Area Director is, and how to contact them, click here.
The Midvale Heights Community Association publishes a bimonthly newsletter called the “Midvale Messenger”. Printed copies of the “Midvale Messenger” are delivered by Block Captains to MHCA members and non members living in the Midvale Heights neighborhood. You can also download and read online copies of the “Midvale Messenger” by clicking here. The online copies are in Adobe Reader (pdf) format. The distributed copies of the “Midvale Messenger” are printed in black and white, but since the November 2003 issue, the online “Midvale Messenger” newsletters have been in color. Here is a link to the most recent Midvale Messenger: November-December 2007 (535K).
Here are some pictures from the Midvale Heights Neighborhood. These pictures were all taken by George Merriman, Midvale Heights resident from Area 13, who was also the Midvale Messenger Newsletter Editor 2003-2007.
On the evening of June 23rd, 2004, a tornado went through Midvale Heights. Click here to see pictures and to read some accounts of the storm.
The MHCA Area Directors meet on the fourth Tuesday of the month (except for the months of July, August, and December) at the Sequoya branch Library on South Midvale Blvd. Click here for more information on the MHCA Director's meetings.
