Agenda Items:
1. Introductions
2. Approve January Meeting Minutes

• Motion/2nd to do so. Motion Carried.

3. No Treasurer Report
4. No Alder Report
5. Michael Pressman Tribute

• Confirmation that benches are $4,000 each. The parks department is unlikely to install by June 2026.
• Bill Tishler will do a proclamation in recognition of Michael Pressman. It would designate the baseball park at Piper Park as Michael Pressman field. There is a possibility of scheduling an commemorative event at the opening game of the baseball season.
• Can move forward with banners at Piper Park and Segoe Park baseball fields by June 2026.
• Discussion of fundraising money for the commemoration.

6. Westmorland July 3 Drone Show & Fourth of July Celebration

• Discussion of Westmorland Neighborhood Association’s request for $2,500 to co-sponsor both events.
• Motion to contribute $2,000/2nd to do so. One in opposition. Motion carried.

7. Transportation Safety Committee Report (Clinton & Troy)

• Series of meetings with Alder Bill Tishler and members of Westmorland, Hill Farms, and Midvale Heights discussing improving streets in ways such as: improving Segeo Road/setting up a temporary test for concepts, adding a beacon to Charles Lane & Odana Road, improving Tokay Boulevard, making sure that the focus is not just safety but also improvements, including beauty and environmentally conscious design).
• Next committee meeting on Saturday, March 21 at 9 a.m. at Sequoya Library Room 104.
• Motion that the Board endorse the request of Alder Bill Tishler to the City for the rapid flashing beacon on Charles Lane & Odana Road. Motion/2nd to do so. Motion carried.
• Motion that the Board endorse the request of Alder Bill Tishler to the City to run a test with temporary measures that eliminate the left turn lanes that are currently cut into the mediation on Odana Road & Charles Lane to determine whether eliminating these left turn lanes would allow for a proper refuge in the middle of the street. Motion/2nd to do so. Motion carried.

8. Web Committee Report (Anna)

• Review of the website design to date.
• Confirmation that concert series will be called Segoe Summer Nights on website.
• Please email 3,000 pixel images for website to annathiel at gmail.com

9. Activities Updates

• Green Team

- Sustainability Share Fair scheduled for February 28 from 9-11 a.m. at Sequoya Library.
- Let’s Talk about Invasive Plants presentation scheduled for April 2 from 6-8 p.m. at the Sequoya Library.

• Picnic

- Picnic scheduled for Tuesday, June 23.
- Discussion of doing potluck, hotdogs, and ice cream.

• Segoe Summer Nights

- Bands booked: July 10 Waunakee Big Band; July 17 Honey Pies; July 24 Cajun Strangers; July 31 Madtown Mannish Boys
- Chocolate Shoppe & Kona Ice booked.

• Annual Garage Sale

- Event will remain on Labor Day weekend.

• Annual Meeting Speaker

- Charles Franklin scheduled to be speaker.
- Library will promote the event to draw people in.
9. Other Business

• June meeting scheduled for June 30 at 6:00 p.m.
