5. Alder Report (Bill Tishler)
- Midvale Boulevard Resurfacing & Safety Improvement Project questionnaire with Department of Public Works Engineering Division currently available online at http://www.cityofmadison.com/engineering/projects/midvale-blvd-resurfacing-safety-improvement-project
- The questionnaire will be available until September 2, 2025 at 2:00 p.m.
- Additional safety measures for pedestrians are proposed in all three options
- Proposed room tax changes on the horizon
- Bill Tishler to moderate book discussion on September 28 to kick off week of “no
- driving”
6. Membership Update/Directory
- 314 registered members to date
- Registered members will receive membership cards and directories in early September
7. Proposal to Improve Safety of Segoe Rd.
- Proposal: The Midvale Heights Community Association supports efforts to make Segoe Road safer for all ages and abilities, including bikers and pedestrians, especially children walking and biking to Van Hise Elementary School, Hamilton Middle School, and the three parks along Segoe Road

8. Annual Meeting Update
- Scheduled for Thursday, October 30 at 6:00 p.m. at Sequoya Library
9. Midvale Heights Bison Update
- Bill Grover (original artist) can do patchwork as a temporary fix to the bison; more discussion regarding restoration for future meetings
- Authorize up to $500 for Bill Grover to do patchwork to bison in October. Motion/2nd to do so. Motion carried.
10. Green Team Update
- To plant service berry tree in the future
- Median and bison prairie clean up dates to be scheduled
- Rusty patch bumblebee plant kit being sold by UW arboretum
- “Let’s Talk” on invasive plants to be scheduled for November
11. MHCA Garage Sale
- 27 houses signed up for garage sales scheduled for August 29 and 30
- QR code and map on the website
12. Blood Drive
- Scheduled for November 13
13. Summer Nights on Segoe
- Recap of bands, food vendors, attendance
